Toronto chefs and wineries raise money for Japan earthquake relief.

Currently, Japan is in a state of emergency after experiencing a devastating earthquake, a tsunami and now the threat of a nuclear meltdown. It is so inspiring to see people within our industry doing their part to help. A number of chefs from Toronto and Ontario wine producers are joining forces to hold a fundraiser dinner at Böhmer Restaurant on Sunday March 27, 2011. The fundraiser is being organized by Nobuyo Stadtländer, the business partner and wife of Michael Stadtländer. The dinner will consist of a 5 course meal catered by local chefs. As well, there are many generous donations from local wineries and breweries. This is a small act that will make a big impact on the relief efforts in Japan.
